I’ve been watching these videos recently, and one thing that really stands out is how often people try to blame mental illness, a disability, or personal struggles for their actions. It’s disappointing to see those used as excuses. Saying things like, “I’ve just been lonely,” or “I have depression,” doesn’t excuse harming others/taking the innocence of a minor or taking away responsibility for what you’ve done. Mental illness doesn’t make someone a predator.
